Overview
The first vocal artist to win a MacArthur "genius" grant for her role as an advocate for new music, Dawn Upshaw has achieved worldwide celebrity as a singer of opera and concert repertoire. She is joined by the adventurous and versatile Australian Chamber Orchestra to perform a new work by Maria Schneider titled Winter Morning Walk, based on the poetry of poet laureate and Pulitzer Prize winner Ted Kooser.
