Theater at Cal Performances

Our 2024–25 season features the Bay Are premieres of William Kentridge’s The Great Yes, The Great No, a chamber opera set on a 1941 sea voyage from Marseille to Martinique, and SLAM!, a theatrical wrestling show created by Cirque FLIP Fabrique & Ex Machina/Robert Lepage. Also on the Theater events lineup are Story Boldly’s Defining Courage, an immersive live event through vivid cinematography, stirring live music, eyewitness interviews, and deft storytelling, and the 50th anniversary of delightful Swiss mime troupe Mummenschanz.
