Jazz at Cal Performances

2024–25 season jazz events are all debuts to Cal Performance stages! Antonio Sánchez celebrates the 10th anniversary of Alejandro Iñárritu’s Oscar-winning film Birdman with a live performance in this screening and concert; talented young vocalist Samara Joy brings a mixed program of classic jazz tunes and gospel music influence; and jazz pianist Sullivan Fortner debuts as a leader with a hard-swinging trio of like-minded young talents.
