Overview
Dances from the New World
Brazilian brothers Sergio and Odair Assad—the best two-guitar team in existence, maybe even in history—return following their extraordinary 2012 appearance! They are joined by their friend clarinetist Paquito D'Rivera for a diverting evening of Latin classical music, with a dash of jazz. D'Rivera's charming personality and the Assads' impeccable ensemble playing ensure a delightful experience for one and all. "Call it one of the most engaging musical presentations of the season. Better yet, call it a stunning display of the music of the Western Hemisphere, performed by three of that region's (and the world's) finest artists" (Los Angeles Times).
