The Takács Quartet's vibrant, authoritative interpretations have been hailed for setting a new standard in the performance of these canonical works. Their recording of Beethoven's late quartets was called "an exceptional achievement" by The Guardian, UK, and won the BBC Music Magazine Record of the Year and the Gramophone Award, among other accolades, when it was released 10 years ago. The quartet is joined here by frequent collaborator, violist Erika Eckert, for Mozart's String Quintet in G minor.
