Chick Corea, piano
Herbie Hancock, piano

March 19, 2015

In 1978, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock, veterans of Miles Davis' bands and leaders in the electric jazz-rock revolution, stunned audiences when they toured as an acoustic piano duet, producing two now-seminal recordings of their live concerts. Last year, these titans reunited for the first time in decades for a free-form evening of improvisation, visiting familiar tunes along the way, from Corea's La Fiesta and Hancock's Maiden Voyage, to Bartók's Mikrokosmos and Miles Davis hits like Someday My Prince Will Come.
