A troupe of China's most gifted tumblers, contortionists, jugglers, and gymnasts, the Peking Acrobats return to Zellerbach by popular demand, with spellbinding feats and daring maneuvers steeped in 2,000 years of folk tradition. In vibrant costumes and accompanied by live musicians on Chinese folk instruments, the rigorously trained acrobats dazzle with their tremendous agility and grace, as well as spectacular company numbers involving trick cycling, powerful precision tumbling, and other cringe-worthy maneuvers.

The tower crane that is part of the Lower Sproul Plaza Construction project is scheduled to be removed January 24 and 25, impacting both Peking Acrobats matinees. Removal will include temporary lane closures on Bancroft Way between Telegraph Ave and Dana Street from 6 am – 6 pm, and metered parking on the south side of Bancroft will not be available those days. Vehicles are advised to use other streets to travel west-bound these days between 6 am – 6 pm (Haste Street or Channing Way, for example). We highly recommend that you allow yourself aextra time to ensure you are comfortably in your seat before the performance begins.
