Declared a “radiant Mozartian” by the New York Times, the lyric soprano Ying Fang is adored by opera lovers for her refined musicianship, pristine coloratura, and effortless purity of tone. The Chinese-born singer is a graduate of the Juilliard School as well as the Metropolitan Opera’s prestigious Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, and she has appeared as Ilia in Idomeneo, Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, and Pamina in Die Zauberflöte to great acclaim on international stages. In recital, Fang is joined by acclaimed, Grammy-nominated pianist Myra Huang in a program of works by J.S. Bach, Schubert, R. Strauss, Debussy, and others, topped off by a special selection of Chinese songs.
