Jazz at Cal Performances
Jazz highlights in the 2023–24 season include the return of the distinctive creative voice of Cécile McLorin Salvant; child prodigy on piano and organ Matthew Whitaker; and the Brad Mehldau Trio, whose career has spanned more than 25 years; and the debut of OKAN, fusing its Afro-Cuban roots with American jazz, Dominican merengue, Brazilian samba, and folk music from across the globe.
