ALINA CARSON

ALINA CARSON | she/they is a musical theater-trained performance artist, dancer, and actor from Baltimore, Maryland. She worked with Baltimore’s Arena Players before relocating to New York, where she spent three years as a company member of the Harlem Repertory Theatre. Past pro­duction’s include Midsummer Moon with the Virginia Stage Company, Raisin in the Sun with Harlem Rep, and The Disco Oasis in Central Park. Carson is based in Brooklyn and is currently finishing her debut album Get a Little Lost. She has appeared in film projects such as Nanny by Nikyatu Jusu, Class by Enzo Cellucci and Hank Azaria, and @DatingZoe by Adi Riesenberg and Jess Dunn. Carson feels extremely fortunate to be a vessel for Octavia Butler’s prophetic storytelling, and would like to give a special thanks to her beloved aunt and acting mentor, Lisa Carson.
