Alisha Rena Peek

Alisha Rena Peek (Upper Marlboro, MD) gradu­ated cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA pro­gram in dance in 2018 and is a former company member of Ailey II. She has performed and taught internationally and domestically and had the opportunity to work with influential chore­ographers including Robert Battle, Hope Boykin, Andrea Miller, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Kirven Douthit-Boyd, and Juel D. Lane. Peek began her formal dance training at the Wash­ington School of Ballet and went on to train at the Dance Theatre of Harlem Kennedy Center Residency, Kirov Ballet Academy, and The Art of Technique under the direction of Troy D. Brown. Peek attended summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Boston Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and The Ailey School. She also appeared in season one of the hit FX series POSE, participated in the Hope­BoykinDance Bubble Residency, and choreo­graphed for a short film produced by Beats by Dre.
