Catherine Foster

Catherine Foster is a professional dancer, dance educator, and choreographer. She received her dance training from the DC Youth Ensemble, Baltimore School for the Arts, and at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. Foster was a finalist and second-place winner of YoungARTS in Miami, Florida, and is a recipient of the Astaire Award for Best Broadway Female Ensemble. She has worked with and performed the works of noted choreographers, including Bill T. Jones, Hinton Battle, Darrell Grand Moultrie, and Abdel Salaam. Foster is a long-standing member of Camille A. Brown & Dancers, where she also serves as Artistic Associate. Company credits: The Fred Ben­ja­min Dance Company; Forces of Nature.
