Chris Wade
Chris Wade (music director) is a multifaceted music director, producer, composer, and vocal arranger with a dynamic presence in both Los Angeles and New York City. As the creative force behind singing groups like the RAISE Choir, Chris has made a significant impact in the world of live performance and television. His extensive credits include music direction for David Ono’s Defining Courage (Kennedy Center, Segerstrom, Aratani Theater), Hair (BroadwayWorld Award for Best Music Direction and Orchestrations), Cabaret, and Guys & Dolls at Altadena Music Theatre. Music and theater alum: LACHSA, CLU, Wagner College, and the BMI Musical Theater Composer Workshop. Off-Broadway credits: Siren’s Heart, Great Leap Forward, and 29LIVES. His original educational musical Such Sweet Sorrow was selected as the first production for RUSD’s Honors Musical (California Bell Award). Wade also served as Vocal Producer/Arranger for Oprah’s 2020 Vision Tour, crafting performances for the RAISE Choir. With his television work featured on Game of Talents, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and more, Wade continues to shape the sound of modern musical storytelling.
