MARIE TATTIANA AQEEL

MARIE TATTIANA AQEEL | she/her, or Marie Tatti, is a performance artist and nature enthusiast originally from Washing­ton, DC. She is an alumnus of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts (DC) and the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University (NJ). Her performance credits include Octavia E. Butler’s Parable of the Sower created by Toshi Reagon and Bernice Johnson Reagon; Millennium Stage at the John F. Kennedy Center; and A Letter to My Ex by Be Steadwell. Aqeel currently resides in the mountains of Central Virginia, where she enjoys working on her premiere studio recording album, being outdoors, and engaging in circle singing and ceremonial arts.
