Seán O’Shea

Seán O’Shea is a highly regarded actor with an extensive career across theater, film, and television. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), O’Shea performed the role of Rupert Murdoch in the Melbourne Theatre Company production Rupert, later touring the United States.

O’Shea has performed in more than 20 Shakespearean productions, including the title role in Macbeth for Bell Shakespeare,
Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew (State Theatre Company South Australia), and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Railway
St Theatre).

O’Shea has performed leading roles with Sydney Theatre Company, Ensemble Theatre, Griffin Theatre Company, Hayes Theatre Co, Darlinghurst Theatre Company, Sport for Jove, and Western Australia Theatre Company. Other credits include Amadeus (Red Line Productions) and Tell Me I’m Here (Belvoir St Theatre).

On television, O’Shea has appeared in Operation Buffalo, Murder Call, McLeod’s Daughters, Doctor Doctor, and Water Rats.
