Digital Tickets

Receiving Your Tickets

We are excited to share an updated timeline for digital ticket delivery, beginning with the 2025–26 season. While all purchases will be followed with an immediate order confirmation, tickets will be emailed 4 days prior to the performance, with the following exceptions:

  • Any orders that include a subscription or sub add-on tickets, purchased before July 15, will be delivered July 15.
  • Any orders made by Donors of $1,500+, purchased before July 15, will be delivered July 15.
  • Any orders that include a subscription, purchased July 15 or after, will be delivered immediately (This does NOT include sub add-on tickets purchased after the subscription order has already been delivered)

The above schedule balances general patrons’ requests to have their tickets at the top of their inbox come showtime, with subscribers’ need for adequate lead time to sort and share their larger volume ticket orders.

If you have any questions about receiving your tickets, or have not received your tickets by the timeline listed above, please contact the Ticket Office at tickets@calperformances.org.

Viewing and Saving Your Tickets

All tickets for the 2025–26 season will be sent by email from e-tickets@calperformances.org. Depending on your email provider, patrons with large orders may need to click “view entire message” at the bottom of the email to expand the message and see all tickets. They also can be viewed in your Cal Performances online account beginning 4 days prior to the performance date.

You will be required to scan your ticket at the door, either on your phone or printed out, for entry to a performance. For ease of finding your tickets come showtime, we recommend adding your ticket to your digital wallet on iPhone and Android. The add to wallet function is available for all tickets (including parking passes) within 90 days of the performance date.

Watch these video tutorials for detailed instructions for subscription orders and single tickets.

How to Access, View, and Save your Digital Tickets on an Android

The easiest way to share tickets is in your digital wallet on iPhone and Android. Once you have a ticket added that you would like to give to someone else, there is a share icon in the upper right. Pressing that icon will open various ways for your phone to share the ticket. For details instructions, see the iPhone or Android instructions.

The built-in functionality of smartphones’ “add to wallet” feature only allows tickets to be added to a digital wallet when the event is 90 or fewer days away. Because this condition is a feature of the wallet applications themselves rather than of the tickets, we unfortunately are not able to adjust this timeline.
There could be a number of issues, including if you have exchanged your ticket and that original ticket is no longer available, or the performance date is more than 90 days in the future.

Once your tickets have been exchanged, you will no longer need (nor will you be able) to access to the old tickets. We recommend deleting them to avoid potential confusion over which to use come showtime.

  • If you ordered a large number of tickets in a single order, you may need to click “view entire message” at the bottom of the email to see all the tickets. If you are still unable to find your full order, please reach out to the Ticket Office at tickets@calperformances.org or 510.642.9988.
  • All subscription tickets purchased in the same order will be delivered in a single email.
  • Non-subscription tickets purchased in the same order for multiple events will be delivered in different emails, each four days ahead of the event(s).
Please refer to the schedule above to determine when your tickets will be delivered. If your tickets aren’t delivered within the specified timeframe, please contact the Ticket Office at tickets@calperformances.org or 510.642.9988.

At this time, pre-purchased parking passes do not need to be scanned for access to the parking venue. Rather, an attendant at the parking venue will simply ask for the name listed on the parking pass to verify your reservation. And make sure to have your ID handy as the attendant may ask for it.

Yes, you can print out the tickets from your email. Each ticket should print on a separate page, so it’s easy for sharing and scanning. However, different email providers may not paginate the tickets correctly. That is why we recommend adding the digital ticket to your phone’s wallet app so that it will be readily accessible come showtime.  If you do not have a mobile device or need help printing your tickets, contact the Ticket Office at tickets@calperformances.org or 510.642.9988.

For orders placed by phone, you may request will call pickup by contacting the Ticket Office at tickets@calperformances.org or 510.642.9988.

If you are having any issues accessing your tickets at the venue, please stop by our Ticket Office. Note that while our permanent Ticket Office location is at Zellerbach Hall, for performances that take place at other venues, Ticket Office staff is always present for convenient onsite assistance at the time of the performance.
