In order to provide our patrons with the most flexible options and peace of mind, Cal Performances has adopted a new temporary refund policy in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This policy is in effect through December 31, 2020, and is subject to revision based on the recommendations of local and national health officials.

In the event of performance cancellation or reschedule, tickets are fully refundable. Tickets for cancelled or rescheduled performances may also be donated (receipt provided) or exchanged for another performance in the 2020/21 Cal Performances season.

For performances that occur on the scheduled date, tickets are fully refundable until the box office closes the day prior to the event (the Ticket Office is closed Mondays). On the day of the performance, tickets may be exchanged for another event in the 2020/21 Cal Performances season up until 1 hour prior to curtain with no exchange fee (subject to availability and price changes). After that time, tickets may be donated (receipt provided).

Please note: Ticket prices published in the season brochure are valid through July 3, 2020, for all performances except Not Our First Goat Rodeo, which are valid through June 4, 2020. After those dates, all prices are subject to change.

The well-being of our audiences, artists, and staff is our top priority, and we assure you that we will follow all recommended public health and governmental guidelines to keep all of those in our Cal Performances family safe and healthy through this extended pandemic.

This may result in changes to our usual ticketing and seating processes, mailing timelines, and day-of-show procedures, and even to the schedule ourselves as we partner together with our artists to plan for what is possible. We anticipate communicating closely with our patrons and community often in the coming weeks and months regarding the current status of our plans.

Along with all of our colleagues in the performing arts world, we are currently exploring all possibilities for seating in our halls in compliance with public health guidelines regarding social or physical distancing. While we do not yet have the final answers, or an answer as to the degree that this will be required, this issue is at the top of our list to solve and we will be doing everything possible to follow recommended guidelines and ensure the safety of our artists, audiences, and staff. We are also implementing changes to our refund and exchange policy to allow patrons as much flexibility as possible.

In order to provide our patrons with the most flexible options and peace of mind, Cal Performances has adopted a new temporary refund policy in response to the COVID-19 pandemic:

For performances that occur on the scheduled date, tickets are fully refundable until the Ticket Office closes the day prior to the event (the Ticket Office is closed Mondays). On the day of the performance, tickets may be exchanged for another event in the 2020/21 Cal Performances Season up until 1 hour prior to curtain with no exchange fee (subject to availability). After that time, tickets may be donated (receipt provided).

In the event of performance cancellation or reschedule, tickets are fully refundable. Tickets for cancelled or rescheduled performances may also be donated (receipt provided) or exchanged for another performance in the 2020/21 Cal Performances Season.

This policy is in effect through December 31, 2020, and is subject to revision and extension based on the recommendations of local and national health officials.

Season Brochure—if you received a season brochure in the mail, we suggest you have it handy as you choose the shows you want to include in your subscription. The brochure contains full descriptions of all of the shows, organized by genre. It also includes a season calendar listing with ticket prices for every level. If you didn’t receive a brochure, you can download a PDF of it, or request that one be sent to you.

The 2020/21 Season page allows you to browse the season lineup online. You can view the entire season, or filter by genre and date. For each event, you’ll see a link where you can “learn more,” which will take you to the event details page.

The event details page provides additional information about the show, including more photos and videos, the program (if available), and the available subscription packages.
