
Katelyn Teixeira
Katelyn Teixeira (Oakland, CA) has served in various roles within education, with one constant being her passion for supporting and guiding children and families in the Bay Area. Working in recent years as a counselor, Teixeira specializes in social-emotional learning, restorative justice practices, and culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches with children and families. Teixeira earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at CSU Stanislaus and a master’s degree in school counseling at UMass Global and is currently earning her second MA degree in marriage and family therapy. Teixeira enjoys exploring Oakland’s special culture, playing and watching sports, and staying active. This is her third year working with Berkeley/Oakland AileyCamp.
