Mehdi Nassouli

Mehdi Nassouli (guembri and voice), a guembri specialist, learned from a family steeped in Gnawa culture, after which he explored Morocco for more than 20 years, completing his journey of initiation with several maálems (masters of Gnawa tradition).

Open to the fusion of musical genres, Nassouli has traveled the continents, working with renowned world music figures including Titi Robin, Benjamin Taubkin, NNeka, Karim Ziad, Hindi Zahra, Andy Emler, Justin Adams, and Alpha Blondy.
