One of today’s most in-demand lyric coloratura sopranos, Erin Morley has been praised for the “silken clarity of her voice and the needlepoint precision of her coloratura” (The New York Times). Since graduating from the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, Morley has appeared in more than 100 Met performances, most notably as Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier, Olympia in Tales of Hoffmann, Constance in Les Dialogues des Carmélites, and Pamina in The Magic Flute. Opera lovers who streamed the Met Stars at Home Gala during the pandemic will never forget her delightful rendition of “Chacun le sait, chacun le dit” from La Fille du Régiment, as she deftly accompanied herself at the piano. Here the supremely sensitive pianist Martin Martineau joins Morley for a magical matinee performance.

Run time for this performance is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, including intermission.
