Cal Performances’ 2026 Gala

featuring The Joffrey Ballet

JOIN US FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE EVENING!

Cal Performances invites you to join us on Friday, April 17, 2026, for an incredible evening featuring The Joffrey Ballet.

Our spring Gala will be a highlight of the 2025–26 Bay Area cultural season that you won’t want to miss! The Joffrey Ballet will present Alexander Ekman’s creatively bold Midsummer Night’s Dream set to a score by composer Mikael Karlsson and featuring Swedish indie rock sensation Anna von Hausswolff in an event to remember! We also will have the honor of presenting The Joffrey Ballet’s Artistic Director, Ashley Wheater MBE, with the Cal Performances Award of Distinction in the Performing Arts.

All sponsors and their guests will enjoy a festive cocktail reception, priority seating for the performance, and an elegant onstage dinner designed by Guest Chefs and Executive Owners Gayle Pirie and John Clark of San Francisco’s world renowned Foreign Cinema. The best seats at the performance will be reserved for Gala guests.
