Celebrating 20 Years of AileyCamp at Cal Performances!
AileyCamp is a nationally acclaimed summer program that uses dance as a vehicle for developing self-esteem, creative expression, and critical thinking skills among middle school students. Conceived by Alvin Ailey and run locally by Cal Performances, Berkeley/Oakland AileyCamp has transformed the lives of over 1,200 young people from the East Bay and beyond since our first camp in 2002. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, AileyCamp is operated on a full-scholarship basis for all campers.
