Dance at Cal Performances

Our 2024–25 season welcomes back to our stages Step Afrika! performing a production that tells the story of the Great Migration; Pilobolus’ re-CREATION; the Bay Area premiere of Dorrance Dance’s The Nutcracker Suite, where tap meets jazz;  and Twyla Tharp Dance celebrating the choreographer’s Diamond Jubilee featuring Third Coast Percussion. Making their Cal Performances debuts are Batsheva Dance Company performing Ohad Naharin’s MOMO and Grupo Corpo performing Rodrigo Pederneiras’s 21 and Gira, both Bay Area premieres. And as always, we will see the return of residencies from Mark Morris Dance Group, this season bringing their popular Pepperland back to Zellerbach Hall, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
