Theater/Opera at Cal Performances
Our 2022–23 season features the three premieres: William Kentridge’s SIBYL, inspired by the Greek myth of the Cumaean Sibyl, and wrestles with the human desire to know our future; Michel van der Aa’s Blank Out, a chamber opera about tragedy, memory, and loss; and Octavia E. Butler’s Parable of the Sower, following a young Black woman through a dystopian, apocalyptic American future.
Include any—or all!—of our Theater/Opera events in a Choose-Your-Own By Number package to save up to 20%.
