From Motörhead, the Muppets, Paul Simon, and Tchaikovsky, to Nirvana, Shirley Bassey, the Beach Boys, and Johnny Cash—no genre of music, from any era, is safe from the four-string renegades that comprise the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. Like a cover band in an episode of Monty Python, these strummers have been serving up clever arrangements with a side of self-deprecating British humor for 40 years. No drums, no pianos, no guitars, no backing tracks—just seven ukuleles and a lot of sass!
