More than 20 virtuosic Reich specialists join forces in celebration of Steve Reich’s 90th birthday in a program of seminal, award-winning works and a new commission. New York’s Bang on a Can All-Stars is joined by next-generation Ensemble Signal—among the foremost interpreters of Reich’s music and close Reich collaborators—for a one-night mini-festival of Reich classics that includes the Pulitzer-winning Double Sextet, alongside In All Your Ways heard here in its West Coast premiere.
“There’s just a handful of living composers who can legitimately claim to have altered the direction of musical history and Steve Reich is one of them”—The Guardian
